Yet many of them are struggling to live. Beggers that come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, age, and even those that use unique and creative methods for begging. Life is hard for many there. Even for those who have honed their skills. Elsewhere, they may make it big. Which brings me to the question of opportunities. We often say that people create their own opportunities. But for these people, that opportunity never comes. The environment and others constantly repress and prevent anyone from rising. Yes there are success stories, but the truth is, i think im lucky to have been born a Singaporean.

Kudos to those who have it good from birth. You guys had been the chosen ones. Now don't screw it up, or people will take it away from you.

Was looking at pictures of the kids on exchange in America and i can't help but feel so jealous! HongKong isnt that all bad, but i guess its just too similar to Singapore and thus comfortable.

The last 2 weeks was good, going places, meeting pple, but the similarities just irk me sometimes. And the snow, skiing, and all looks so much greener!

I think whats good here is that is really a mix of east and west. More so than Sg. And i've been having lots of fun reading and learning about how pple think. MACRO Intercultural studies! haha (even though im taking the course intercultural communication here as well).

We have it easy here as well in terms of adjusting cause its similar.

But, i'd still like to go snowboarding and live in a cold cold place with snow!
